Travel

For those who regularly follow my site often comment about how they enjoy reading about my travels; you know that I'll always set time aside to provide you with a post and photos of my adventures.

Amsterdam

My trip to Amsterdam was a fantastic experience. Originally I was unsure where I would end up going on vacation but after reading some articles and seeing a few spots on TV about tourism in Amsterdam I was hooked. To be fair I was not very familiar with what to expect from Amsterdam, often you only hear about the Red Light District but I found that was only a small fraction to what Amsterdam has to offer and in fact not even the best parts to the city.

London

“Hey kids! We know…Big Ben. Parliament.” I love to travel; something I hope to continue to do throughout my life time, and I can say this with 100% certainty. I’ll be going back to London (I already have a list of to do’s for the next time). It’s that much fun and there’s that much to do.

Madrid

While traveling in the Castillian plain region of Spain I decided to visit the grand metropolis of Madrid and its museums. I stayed in the hotel “Lope De Vega” which is across the street from the Museo del Prado.

Matera

I took these photos while traveling in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy where I discovered the ancient city of Matera. I took these photos while traveling in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy where I discovered the ancient city of Matera.

Paris

After arriving at the hotel Pont Neuf in Paris, I headed out sketchbook in hand to start capturing everything I could. You know what? As soon as I found a quaint café I found myself not concerned with drawing everything in my sketchbook. I just wanted to not only enjoy the moment but live it to its fullest, and so the real Paris trip began.

Rome / Prague

"This was the first time during one of my personal vacations I was able to visit two cities Rome / Prague." This trip was different in a lot of ways for me; usually I come up with a handful of solid sketches I work up into paintings, then a small break then off to the next adventure to recharge my creative batteries. This trip proved to be much different, Rome provided me with a few ideas and really had me thinking, Prague allowed me to start pulling the pieces together, and that’s not where it ended. Now I am in a situation where as soon as I start creating one piece I am flooded with ideas for several more pieces, a great place to be in but difficult when you are faced with so many hours in the day to create.
